Magnificent oak studded rolling hills surround this beautiful 28 acres farm at the western edge of Hames Valley. Harvey Vineyards, one of Monterey County’s finest vineyards of both vines and olive trees originally was planted in 1992. Recently our vineyard was replanted with 19 ac of Cabernet Sauvignon clone 47 and 3ac of Sauvignon Blanc clone 1 all grafted on 1103P rootstock. The valley, mostly of Lockwood shale, is home to the remaining 6 acres of “old vines” comprise of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot.

Owners Chris Harvey & Caroline Hanania, originally came to California from England over 25 years ago. They live on their property with their Border Collies, Brody and Reno. With the assistance of professional consultants, they have carefully managed the property since 2008. Both Caroline and Chris have a long history of success in the film and television industry. Their love and passion for design and the vineyard is pronounced as they tend to the olive groves and continue to pursue career aspirations for production design and photography. Caroline, having her own studio on the property and Chris continuing with his photographic projects, combine their passions with the vineyard. They consistently produce high quality grapes, well balanced fruit, that combines a deep red color and wonderful flavor featured over the years in wines produced by Sebastiani, Robert Hall & Duckhorn wineries.

  In 2010 Chris and Caroline planted over 200 Arbequina Olive trees that are hand harvested and then milled locally to produce an exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which is available to private clients and select outlets in California.
